Learning to drive – prices
Learning to drive should be affordable. Please contact me if you have any queries about pricing structure and the number of driving lessons you will need.
Driving lesson prices
First 2 hour driving lesson: £30 for Beginner drivers.
The first 2 hour lesson will be used to evaluate your driving skills. If you are driving for the first time, your lesson will cost £30 and will involve the cockpit drill and controls of the car, before progressing to moving off, stopping and learning to steer.
If you are more experienced, I will make an assessment of your general driving and road awareness, and take a look at the manoeuvres required in every day driving and the driving test. From there we can discuss the best price plan to suit your skill level, and plan your route to passing your driving test or improving your skills as an experienced driver.
I recognise that learning to drive is something that needs to be fitted into your weekly schedule. Ideally you should aim to have a 2 hour driving lesson at least one or two times per week. I can provide lessons weekdays, and exceptionally at weekends and bank holidays at times to suit you and your learning requirements.
Please note: Lessons cancelled less then 48 hours before booking may be charged in full.
